People
Who they are
The Roma people inhabit the island of Romang in Indonesia’s Southwest Maluku archipelago. With a cultural heritage centered on fishing and traditional farming, the community preserves its mother tongue and a daily routine shaped by the surrounding waters. Although many profess Christian faith, geographical isolation still poses challenges to the local church’s growth in biblical understanding.
