Traditional religious affiliation is historically divided between the Orthodox Church and Islam, often influenced by the region or the history of each family lineage. Traditional practices, respect for ancestral customs, and folk beliefs concerning spiritual protection are also intertwined with daily life.
In recent decades, several families have embraced the evangelical faith, finding hope and welcome in participatory and fervent services.
