Who they are
The Sangisari are an ethnic group from northern Iran, settled on the slopes and valleys of the Alborz Mountains. Historically recognized for their rich pastoral tradition and livestock breeding, they maintain their own language belonging to the Iranian branch and a strong community cohesion. Their cultural identity is deeply integrated with the Islamic faith, living without local Christian communities to share the gospel.
