Who they are
The Transylvanian Saxons are a traditional Germanic community established in the central region of Romania. Historically known for their medieval villages and fortified churches, they preserve their own customs, civic traditions, and dialects in Eastern Europe. Although many families have emigrated to Germany in recent decades, those who remain continue to care for the rich community heritage and the Christian legacy of their ancestors.
