People
Who they are
The Seget live in the Indonesian part of New Guinea, in villages south of Sorong and in the southeast of Salawati Island. Their language is also known as Moi Lemas. There are Christian communities among them, while some Seget follow traditional religions. Speakers from the village of Kalobo made audio recordings of the language for a documentation collection, accompanied by research notes.
