Who they are
The Senaya form a small Assyrian community of Aramaic heritage, originating from the city of Sanandaj in western Iran. Over the past century, the search for safety led most families to scatter into communities across the Western diaspora. They cherish and preserve their cultural identity and the memory of their roots, facing the challenge of keeping their faith alive in distant lands.
