Who they are
The Senhaja Berbers inhabit the mountains of northern Morocco, preserving an ancient historical heritage linked to the Sanhaja confederation. They maintain their mother tongue and traditional customs in valleys of difficult access, engaging primarily in agriculture and craftsmanship. Their Muslim faith shapes the rhythm of community life, where kinship ties and family honor sustain everyday existence.
