Who they are

The Muslim Siddi are a people of African roots who settled centuries ago on the west coast of India, primarily in Gujarat. Descendants of Bantu peoples brought to the Indian subcontinent, they maintain unique cultural traits blending African heritage and Indian life. They live out their Islamic faith within this dual identity, which remains little known outside their own communities.
