Who they are
The Southern Kalinga live in the steep mountains of the Cordillera region in the northern Philippines. Known for their rice terraces and a strong sense of community sustained by traditional peace pacts, they preserve a rich cultural and linguistic heritage. Their daily lives remain deeply connected to agricultural cycles and ancestral beliefs passed down from generation to generation.
