Who they are
The Southern Nambiquara live in the transition zone between the Cerrado savanna and the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, mainly in the state of Mato Grosso. Known for their rich cultural traditions and deep connection to the land, they preserve their mother tongue and ancestral customs. Today, the Christian faith has a significant presence in their communities as they seek to support younger generations and protect their territory.
