Who they are

The Tambo are a Bantu ethnic group living mainly in rural areas of Zambia and along the border with Tanzania. With strong ties to subsistence farming and communal village life, they preserve ancestral customs and oral traditions. Their spiritual life continues to center on traditional worship, and contact with active Christian communities in their own language remains rare.
