Who they are
The Tela-Masbuar are a small Indigenous community who inhabit Babar Island in the South Moluccas archipelago of Indonesia. Living in coastal villages, they preserve their own language and traditional customs. Although the region has a historic Christian heritage, practical knowledge of the Bible remains limited, making it essential to strengthen their faith.
