Os Te’un são um pequeno povo indígena originário das Ilhas Molucas, no leste da Indonésia. Após a ameaça de erupções vulcânicas em sua ilha natal, foram reassentados na ilha de Seram. Embora utilizem amplamente o malaio ambonês no cotidiano, guardam fortes laços com suas tradições comunitárias e buscam preservar sua identidade cultural em meio aos desafios do novo território.
