The Azoyú Tlapaneco are an indigenous people living in the mountainous and coastal region of the state of Guerrero, in southern Mexico. Also known as Me’phaa, they keep their ancestral language and community traditions alive. Their livelihood is mainly linked to farming the land, preserving customs passed down through generations amid the challenges of geographic isolation.
