Who they are

The Tsou are an Austronesian indigenous people who inhabit the mountainous slopes of Taiwan’s central mountain range, particularly in the Alishan region. Custodians of rich community traditions and their own distinct language, they maintain a deep connection with their ancestral forests. Although much of the community identifies with historical Christianity, there is a constant need for spiritual renewal and biblical discipleship to strengthen their walk of faith.
