Who they are
The zartoshi are the remaining Zoroastrians of Iran, direct heirs to the cultural and religious traditions of ancient Persia. Historically concentrated in cities such as Yazd and Kerman, they preserve their own dialects and ancient rituals that predate the arrival of Islam. Their community maintains strong cohesion and loyalty to its ancestral roots, seeking to safeguard its faith and identity amid centuries of isolation.
