Colombia

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Colombia is home to more than a hundred people groups, including dozens of indigenous communities and Afro-descendant populations. Although the nation is majority Christian, some of these groups, especially isolated indigenous peoples in the Amazon, the Pacific coast and the Caribbean coast, still have little or no full access to the Scriptures in their mother tongue. Many live in remote regions and in territories affected by violence from armed groups, which makes gospel work difficult.
