Who they are
The Adjora are an Indigenous people who live in the river plains and forests of Papua New Guinea, primarily along the Ramu River basin. With strong ties to life along the rivers and to communal traditions, they preserve the Abu language in their villages. Most of the community has embraced Christianity, expressing their faith within the context of rich local cultural traditions.
