Os aguano são um pequeno grupo indígena da Amazônia peruana, historicamente ligado às bacias dos rios Huallaga e Marañón. Ao longo dos séculos, o contato e a pressão cultural levaram à perda da língua tradicional e à adoção do espanhol, mas as famílias continuam preservando sua memória coletiva, a ligação vital com a floresta e o sustento baseado na pesca e na agricultura de subsistência.
