The Ahinkuntaya are a traditional community in Sri Lanka, historically associated with itinerant ways of life, cultural performances, and snake charming. Over recent decades, many have settled in permanent villages and adopted the Sinhala language. They preserve a distinctive identity and face growing challenges in integrating into society and preserving their cultural heritage.
