Os Ath Pahariya são um povo indígena que habita as colinas do leste do Nepal, com forte concentração no distrito de Dhankuta. Integrantes do amplo grupo cultural Kirati, preservam sua própria língua e um modo de vida fortemente ligado à agricultura em encostas montanhosas e ao respeito aos laços comunitários ancestrais, onde ainda não há uma comunidade cristã estabelecida.
