Who they are
The Bafanji live on the fertile Ndop Plain in northwestern Cameroon. Known for their farming and rich oral tradition in their mother tongue, Chufie’, they preserve strong community ties under the leadership of traditional chiefs. Much of the population maintains ancestral religious practices, seeking blessings and protection through the forces of the earth and inherited customs.
