Unreached people group Frontier
The Barua are a historical South Asian community, primarily concentrated in the Chittagong region. They distinguish themselves from the majority around them by preserving an ancient Buddhist tradition, lived out in the daily life of their communities. With a strong attachment to their spiritual and communal heritage, they maintain temples and customs that define their unique identity amidst a predominantly Muslim region.
