Who they are

The Bomwali live on both sides of the Ngoko River: in Ouesso District in the Republic of the Congo, and in eastern Cameroon, near Moloundou, in the village of Malapa. Most grow cocoa for a living. The people are also called Bumali or Lino. In both countries, most identify as Christian, and a proportion follow traditional religions.
