Who they are

The Brahmin Holia live in the state of Odisha in eastern India and communicate in Odia. Although they belong to the Brahmin caste, their families do not usually pursue temple religious roles; instead, they place high value on formal education and encourage youth to pursue university degrees, especially in technology. With strong family ties and a structured community life, they have had almost no meaningful contact with the good news of Jesus.
