Who they are
The Caluyanhon are an island community living in the Caluya archipelago, in the province of Antique, in the Philippines. Living on small islands between Panay and Mindoro, they maintain a culture closely tied to the sea and speak the Caluyanun language. Their history is shaped by small-scale fishing, subsistence farming, and a rich communal tradition adapted to coastal life.
