The Canamomo are an indigenous community in Colombia’s Andean region, concentrated mainly in the department of Caldas. With a strong connection to the land and their traditional structures of self-government, they preserve their historical identity and ancestral memory, now communicating in Spanish while keeping alive communal practices and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
