Who they are

The Cayubaba are an indigenous people originating from the lowlands of the Bolivian Amazon, in the department of Beni. Historically gathered in ancient Jesuit missions, they preserve a strong sense of community along riverbanks and savannas. Although most now communicate in Spanish, they keep their identity alive through traditional agriculture, fishing, and cultural celebrations inherited from their ancestors.
