The Chrame live in the mountainous regions of southwestern China, associated with the peoples of the Pumi group and the Tibetan cultural sphere. They inhabit high valleys and slopes, preserving strong community ties and ancestral rural traditions. Their social identity is deeply intertwined with Tibetan Buddhist practices and traditional rituals, historically remaining without regular contact with the gospel.
