Who they are
Crypto-Jews, historically called Anusim, are descendants of Sephardic Jews who were forced to publicly abandon their faith during the Inquisition. For generations, many families preserved Hebrew customs and traditions in secret within their homes.
Today found mainly in the Iberian Peninsula and the Americas, many are seeking to understand their ancestral identity and reconcile their rich historical heritage with their journey of faith.
