Os dai são um pequeno povo indígena que habita a ilha de Dai, no arquipélago das Molucas, no leste da Indonésia. Vivem em aldeias costeiras, mantendo fortes laços comunitários e sua própria língua tradicional, transmitida oralmente de geração em geração.
Sua subsistência baseia-se na pesca artesanal e na agricultura familiar, preservando costumes ancestrais em meio ao isolamento geográfico de sua ilha.
