The Dumpas are a small indigenous group living in the rural areas and along the rivers of Sabah, a state on the island of Borneo in eastern Malaysia. Historically connected to other native peoples of the region, they preserve their own language and honor traditions passed down from generation to generation, with a strong attachment to their ancestral land and communal life.
