Who they are
The Engganese inhabit the isolated island of Enggano, off the southwestern coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. They have their own language and communal traditions preserved by their geographic isolation. Although most of the population professes the Christian faith, the community still seeks a deeper biblical understanding and resources to strengthen the faith of younger generations.
