The Kalagans are an indigenous people who inhabit the coastal areas and lowlands of southern Mindanao in the Philippines. Part of the Filipino Muslim cultural and religious group historically known as Moro, they preserve their own language and traditional farming and fishing practices, with a community identity deeply rooted in their traditions and Islamic heritage.
