The Kerarish are a community of Sudanese Arab heritage settled in northern Sudan. Strongly tied to rural life and ancestral traditions of the Nile region, they organize their families around agriculture and livestock raising. Their cultural identity is deeply intertwined with the Islamic faith and the Sudanese Arabic language, with no historical record of an active Christian presence among their communities.
