Who they are
The Krung live in Cambodia, in the hills of Ratanakiri Province, and are also known as Kreung. They traditionally depend on the forest for their livelihoods and grow upland rice. Most follow their traditional religion, and Christians form a minority. Their language is used in educational programs that combine the community’s language with Khmer, the national language, in the early years of schooling.
