Os kuamasi sao um pequeno grupo etnico do sudoeste da China, pertencente a familia linguistica tibeto-birmana. Vivendo em aldeias montanhosas e isoladas na provincia de Yunnan, preservam sua propria lingua e costumes rurais ligados a terra. Sua identidade cultural permanece fortemente moldada pela honra aos antepassados e pela reverencia aos espiritos da natureza, mantendo praticas comunitarias transmitidas de geracao em geracao.
