Who they are

The Kwenyi are an Indigenous Kanak community living in the far south of New Caledonia, especially on the Isle of Pines. Speakers of the Numee language, they preserve a rich cultural heritage connected to the sea and traditional farming. Although Christianity has been part of their history for generations, many families still long for biblical discipleship that reaches their hearts in their own mother tongue.
