People
Who they are
The Lohiki are an indigenous people living in the forests and river valleys of Papua New Guinea. Living in traditional villages, they preserve their ancestral language, Akoye, and depend on farming and forest resources for their daily livelihood. Although the Christian faith is part of their collective identity, they face geographical isolation and seek deeper spiritual growth.
