The Longjia are an ethnic minority community living primarily in the mountainous areas of Guizhou province, in southwestern China. Although they do not have official recognition as a separate nationality, they maintain a strong awareness of their own cultural heritage. Over generations, they have assimilated Mandarin into their daily lives, yet they continue to preserve ancestral memories and deep communal bonds that define their unique identity.
