Os mang são um povo indígena que habita áreas remotas e montanhosas entre o norte do Vietnã e o sudoeste da China. Com idioma próprio da família mon-khmer, preservam tradições ancestrais profundamente ligadas à floresta e aos rios. Sua identidade é marcada pelo trabalho agrícola em encostas íngremes, pela vida comunitária em pequenas aldeias e pelo respeito reverente ao mundo espiritual que cerca o seu cotidiano.
