The Meoswar are an Indigenous coastal community who inhabit Meoswar Island in Cenderawasih Bay, West Papua. With a culture deeply connected to the sea and the region’s forests, they preserve their own language and live mainly by fishing and traditional farming, keeping strong ancestral traditions alive in their everyday island life.
