Os murkim são uma pequena comunidade indígena que habita as florestas remotas da Papua, na Indonésia, próximo à fronteira com Papua-Nova Guiné. Mantendo sua língua tradicional e um modo de vida profundamente ligado à terra, vivem em grande isolamento geográfico e cultural, sem quase nenhum contato com o evangelho ou recursos bíblicos em seu idioma.
