Who they are
The Muslim Jaraj form a traditional community established in Bangladesh, fully integrated into the Bengali linguistic and cultural context. Community life is governed by local customs and Islamic devotion, which shapes the social identity of families. Historically, they preserve their lineages and kinship ties amidst the daily challenges of the country, with no known Christian presence among them.
