Who they are
The Pailibo live in Arunachal Pradesh, in northeastern India, and are part of the Adi people. In April 2022, the Digo Yamo festival was celebrated in Tato after a gap of several years. It marks the start of sowing rice, corn and other seeds. The program included the ponung dance and the traditional jajin bari singing. There are Christians among the Pailibo.
