Who they are
The Pashtun Ashog Khel are a subgroup of the Pashtuns, living primarily in the mountainous regions and valleys of northwestern Pakistan. They speak the Northern Pashto dialect and maintain the tribal ethical code known as Pashtunwali, which is grounded in family honor, bravery, and hospitality. Their historical identity is deeply intertwined with communal traditions and the daily practice of Islam.
