The Nurzai form a traditional branch of the Pashtun people, living primarily in the mountainous and rural regions of northwestern Pakistan. Strongly attached to the ancestral code of Pashtunwali, they prize honor, courage, and generous hospitality toward guests. Speaking the Pashto language and following the Muslim faith, they maintain deep community ties, yet remain without knowledge of the gospel.
