The Pech are an indigenous people who inhabit the forests and mountain valleys of eastern Honduras. With roots in the Chibchan language family, they maintain a deep connection to the land and rivers of their ancestral region. Despite ongoing economic and cultural pressures, they strive to preserve their mother tongue, community structures, and unique identity.
