The Piaroa are an Indigenous people who inhabit the banks of the Orinoco River and the surrounding tropical forests, mainly in southern Venezuela and neighboring areas of Colombia. Known for their deeply peaceful and spiritual worldview, they preserve a rich oral tradition and a relationship of harmony and respect with the rainforest and rivers around them.
