The Poluo are an indigenous people of Tibeto-Burman roots who inhabit the mountainous regions of southwestern China. With an identity shaped by agricultural life in isolated valleys and their own language, they preserve strong community ties and ancestral traditions, remaining largely distant from modern influence and contact with the gospel.
